Suggested use of Seen Reading podcast:
The Seen Reading podcast is me reading each day’s entry. I highly recommend you listen to it while riding the subway or bus. I cannot, however, condone you listening to it while riding a bike. This isn’t Seen Reading Schmucked, after all.

“Is this for real?”
Yis.

“You don’t make it up?”
Again, you are correct.

Why do you do it?
Readers are cool. Authors work hard. Publishers take chances. And you all deserve to be seen!

“Will you review my book?”
Sightings must take place in the wild. Part of the thrill for me is encountering readers in their natural habitats.

About Julie

Julie Wilson is the creator and author of the literary voyeurism blog, Seen Reading. She has appeared on CBC Radio’s Here and Now to discuss the reading habits of Torontonians with Matt Galloway. In 2008, Julie partnered with CBC’s Canada Reads to sleuth out sightings for each of the finalists. Julie’s short fiction has appeared in Taddle Creek and Maisonneuve. She is currently at work on Fading, a novel in which hand-me-down jeans are tightened to the last belt loop, believers flash truck drivers, Jessica Lange’s whisper guides a young woman, and a community locks its doors after a moment of unforeseen violence.
